  • Who understands the country’s priorities in terms of safety and security.
  • Who understands government’s imperatives in terms of a cost-effective Reserve capacity.
  • Who understands that the RSA’s wellbeing, growth and success depend on a secure environment and that a highly effective defence force will provide a competitive advantage.
